Brambles

Seattle, WA 2008. I absolutely love the alien nature of plants. The way they look, the textures, the colors... It is very difficult to not simply fill this page with botanical reliefs. This image strikes me as particularly mean in the plant world. Everything about it is pointy. I snapped this thinking it would be gorgeous in a livingroom or bedroom to bring some outdoors in. It would be a nice dicotomy of something that looks inherently uncomfortable in a place of comfort.
