Renton, WA 2009. From 4 pm - 6 pm, the crows of Renton Washington begin to gather in the corporate business area parking lots, on cars, lining up on the edges of buildings and in the street. I went for a photoshoot of them and although we brought raw hamburger, the crows were much more enamored wtih the microwave popcorn an area employee brought us to attract them. Toward the end of our venture, the crows, a few at a time, began to fly away toward the last of the dying sunlight. This is one of the many reasons to live in the Northwest. The sky in all of its glory with the distant rantings of mad crows making their way to roost.
