Machines of God

This photo is one that I took of a rosary I created out of antique clock gears, brass nuts and washers, and hand rounded onyx beads. To me, much of the organized religion in the USA feels like a machine dressed to look shiny and pretty. Each piece of brass represents a person; a cog or a tool. Each piece of onyx is a prayer.
