The Master 1

This is a photo that I took of a piece of art I created based on a poem by Dylan Thomas. The piece and the poem are both titled, 'Do Not Go Gentle'. This poem is one of the most raw and gritty pieces I have read based on ones struggle with ones own mortality. The painting is large but this particular detail, called 'The Master' is only a few inches. This was set in direct competition with a detail I call 'The Slave', which depicts a human figure bound in strips of canvas and hung by a chain.
